The YX600 Radian is a sport/standard motorbike manufactured past times the Yamaha Motor Company betwixt the years of 1986-1990. 


The Radian came equipped amongst a slightly detuned version of Yamaha's 598cc, air-cooled, inline-4 which was used inwards the Yamaha FZ-600 Sport Motorcycle (grandfather of Yamaha's FZR serial of functioning bikes), too initially designed amongst 528cc for the 1981 XJ550 Seca too Maxim too thus inwards 1984 the bore, stroke too carburetor size were increased for the Yamaha XJ600/FJ600 sport bike. 


In 1986 the engine was fitted amongst smaller 550 manner carburetors to tally betwixt the frame rails inwards the Japanese FZ400 chassis too introduced every bit the FZ600 which was produced until 1988.


The YX600 Radian chassis received less high functioning components than its race-bred relatives inwards enterprise to brand the machine to a greater extent than affordable for the full general riding community. 


Some of these features included twin raise daze absorbers, raise drum brakes, too the lack of functioning fairings, lending the motorcycle's appearance to the increasingly pop "Naked bike" styling at the time.
